Mid September Book Haul

its funny how i only started to love reading only around the age of 18, felt like i missed out quite a lot of interesting books in the past... i guess it doesnt really matter when you start to love reading, but now i get to understand the pleasant one get from by just reading books.

few days ago, my family decided to go to whitesands Popular since it was having it closure sale!! up to 60% for selected english book and 20% off all store item except electronic items are 10%. so if you are interested to get any stationary, just drop by there till 28Sept before it closed since the mall is getting really for a new look.

its rare to see people reading physical book nowadays, most of the time all you see are phones or tabs.. well, some could say buying books are a waste of resources or space, but i find holding a book feel different as compare to reading it from a phone ..

so i decided to start a book project on this blog, a little different from what i usually blog. my aim for this project, is at least 2-3 books per month for the start. its seem too little right? but i find my self considered a slow reader, so this shall be a small step *smiles*

.
.

- Kafka on the Shore (海辺のカフカ Umibe no Kafuka)
is a 2002 novel by Japanese author Haruki Murakami, who wrote Norwegian Wood, which i loved it and watched it's movie too! the book is all about a boy *the narrator* who runs away from home at the age of fifteen, along with a old man named Nakata, talking cats, fish falling from the sky and lost soul.

- You Can Manage Your Time Better
by Lucy MacDonald. its all about time management, which i really need to improve on. whats really attract me first was the color of the book and its simple book cover design.

- The Devotion of Suspect X (容疑者Xの献身 Yōgisha Ekkusu no Kenshin)
is a 2005 novel by Keigo Higashino. its one of the book on 60% off so why not? *cheapo me* i'm a mystery kind of lover, who also like crime dramas etc.. i watched the tv series of Galileo, so i quite interested in this book which is also part of the series.

The Hunger Games trilogy
by Suzanne Collins. well, movies are out and i didnt catch any yet, a little slow again but shall slowly enjoy the read to see what the craze about this trilogy. only few series that i follow was Dan Brown, Deathnote *comic series btw* and detective conan *comic too*

-  Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Hard Luck
a children's novel written by Jeff Kinney, and this is his eight book! who say a adult cant read a child novel once a while right? its interesting to see how this series has brought many similar *diary of blah blah blah* also appear out in the current market. though there's eight book now, i only read 3 book from this series, so this will be my forth book!

have you read any of these? share your thoughts with me or if you got any good reads to introduce too *winks*
