Review : TRESemme Colour Protection Shampoo and Conditioner

once awhile a change is needed, just like we dont always eat the same food everyday..

thus, decided to change my shampoo routine to try out TRESemme series of shampoo and conditioner, been using loreal paris quite some time already. whether its good or not to often switch shampoo, is really up to one self to see the results.

oh well, since i got these travel size bottles at $2.90 each ..

at first i quite skeptical to try this brand since there's negative comments i read online, but u got to try to know whether will it be good for you or not, since everyone's hair are different.

well, it claims to protect color for 40 washes, whether it really claim it does that, i doubt i can agree with it since this little bottle wouldnt last that long unless you buy the bigger bottle to try . but u will need to use both the same series of the shampoo and the conditioner together to get this effect ..

  • nice scent, not too over powering thus loving it.
  • white liquid texture like any other shampoo, which is easily lather.
  • clean well, and doesnt have the greasy after effect.

one thing i do like about is the color they use, just simple color coding for shampoo and conditioner. black for shampoo and white for conditioner. simple instruction as usual, only apply the conditioner from the mid-shaft to the ends, and just leave it about 2-3 minutes before rinsing it off thoroughly.

thoughts .
  • nice scent too! a slight different scent as compare to the shampoo.
  • hate the opening, its so hard to squeeze the conditioner out since its a white thick texture, then need to squeeze the bottle and shake it.. but i wont be sure about the bigger bottle.
  • well, i do like how it leave the hair smooth and manageable after washing.

used quite a few time, since my colored hair has faded quite awhile already, it doesnt make any different to the faded color. what i love is the scent left on the hair even after washing and drying, doesnt make my hair feel dry or damaged.

but from the other reviews online, i wont recommended to people who just recently dyed their hair red since it bleed easily as compare to other colors, especially if you diy urself :) *if you like to try, just get the travel bottles first*
